Rebuild Vendor Yields

The Rebuild Vendor Yields option recalculates vendor yields. This utility adjusts the historical yields that are used in purchasing history and work orders and is updated based on completing the work order .

When you first enter the Rebuild Vendor Yields option the following message will appear: "This process requires exclusive use of the VHX file. Continue? No/Yes."

• Select no to exit the Rebuild Vendor Yields option.
• Select yes and the system will recalculate vendor yields based on up to date information from purchasing and closed work orders.

Note: The Rebuild Vendor Yield can be run during the Close End of Day process. The Vendor Yields per Item Setting in Retention Options determines how many vendor yields will be used per work order to calculate the historical average yield for the item.
